Heippa!

Olen Elina Ruha ja asustelen laumani kanssa Riihimäellä. Ihmislaumamme kokoonpano on minä (1981) ja avomieheni (1978) sekä meidän nahkavekkarimme; Akseli (2000), Viveka (2002) ja Leevi (2004).

Minulla on ollut pienestä pitäen kaikenkarvaisia rakkaita lemmikkieläimiä mutta lemmikeistä kaikkein rakkaimmat lemmikkirodut ovat olleet kanit ja koirat.

Koirahistoria

Ensimmäisen koirakosketuksen sain vuonna 1987, kun tutustuin naapurin welsh corgiin ja vuonna 1990 meidän perheeseen tassutteli ensimmäinen koiramme; Saksanpaimenkoira Jenny (29.7.1990 - 1993). Parin vuoden tauon jälkeen meille saapui sekarotuinen Wilma (16.9.1989 - 28.3.2002) koira vain viikonlopuksi sosialisoitumaan. Viikonloppumme kesti useita vuosi ja vuonna 2002 jouduin päästämään Wilman paremmille metsästysmaille. Samana vuonna sydämeni valloitti vilkas ja energinen paperiton Saksanpaimenkoira Ramona (10.9.2001 - 25.8.2006) Harmikseni jouduin luopumaan Ramonasta aikaisemmin kuin olisin halunnut. Alkuvuodesta 2006 elämämme muuttui täysin kun taloomme hiippaili Saarloos wolfhond, WolfSirius Majestic Wind "Poju". Alkuvuodesta 2007 taloomme saapui Pojun "Pomoksi" Siperianhusky Andy's Joy Best Intentions alias "Vauhti", jolloin tiesin että toinen ”rakkaus – rotu ” on löytynyt. Loppuvuodesta 2008 syntyi ensimmäinen siperianhusky pentue El-Riwilings - nimen alle.

Koti kasvatusta kennel El-Riwilings nimellä

Kasvattajan peruskurssin kävin vuonna 2006 ja kennel nimen sain vuonna 2007. Olen myös allekirjoittanut Suomen kennelliiton kasvattajasitoumuksen jota noudatan. Sopimuksissa käytämme Suomen kennelliiton virallisia kaavakkeita.

El-Riwilings kasvatus harrastus tapahtuu pienessä muodossa kotioloissa. Koirillamme ei ole erillisiä kennel tiloja vaan koiramme ovat meille perheenjäseniä jotka kasvavat lastemme ja toisten koirien parissa, taajama-alueella. Myös sijoituskoiramme asuvat perheissä perheenjäseninä.

Pidän ensisijaisen tärkeänä koiran luonnetta, terveyttä ja rakennetta. Ja näihin asioihin pyrin kiinnittämään erittäin paljon huomiota tehdessäni pentue suunnitelmia.

The breeder

I´m Elina Ruha from Riihimäki (small city in Finland). I live with my man and three children, in a house of residential. Our children are Akseli (2000), Viveka (2002) and Leevi (2004).

My first contact with dogs was 1987 when I got to know my neighbour´s Welsh Corgi, and have been with my dogs since. My own first dog was a German Shepherd Jenny (29.7.1990 - 1993), second mixed-breed Wilma (16.9.1989 - 28.3.2002) came to us only for the weekend from the animal-shelter, but the weekend became long. The third dog was a German Shepherd Ramona (10.9.2001 - 25.8.2006), life with her wasn´t as long as I would have wanted it to be. At the beginning of the year 2006 a Saarloos Wolfhond Wolfsirius Majestic Wind ”Poju” arrived to our lives and my heart, and 2007 Poju got a new pal; an adult Siberian Husky bitch Andy's Joy Best Intentions ”Vauhti”, when I knew that the second by my loverace had been found. My first El-Riwilings litters born end of the 2008.

Home breeding with the El-Riwilings-kennel name

I passed breeders comprehensive course 2006 and got my kennel name 2007. I have also signed Finnish Kennel Clubs breeders commitment which I obey.

El-Riwilings breeding hobby takes place with small-scale at home. Our dogs don´t have separate kennel premises but they are to us family members who grow with our children and other dogs, in populated area. Also our c/o-dogs live at familys as a member of the family.

The most important things for me are the dogs character, health and structure. And these are the things that get the most of my attention when I make puppie plans. I mate only health examined breed-like dogs with full teeth.

Our dogs are sold to responsible familys as family members, where they are respected as an individuals, where certain breed features are respected not changed. I would wish that the dogs new family has interest to take the dog to the health examinations (at least hip-, elbow- and eye-checking), to give the dog activity and a little interest for showing is always a plus. The new family should also consider insuring the dog.

Puppies are sold only after at the age of 8 weeks

The pups are;

• 3 x dewormed
• registered in Finnish Kennel Club
• microchipped
• vet checked
• eyes checked
• DNA – tested
• They have EU – passport
